In this role you will install sprinkler systems in both commercial and residential buildings. Ensuring that the highest standards of professionalism are maintained and delivering a high level of service to our customers on all installation related matters is a key requirement.

So, you have done the hard yards - have a few years of fitting experience under your belt and now is the time to step it up? Great we want to help you with this.

As an Intermediate/Senior Fitter you will take responsibility for overseeing the junior/trainee fitters daily whilst sharing your knowledge with them & ensuring the quality of their work. This step up in your role will see you working autonomously at times and will have a higher accountability factor.   Working on both residential and commercial jobs you will be expected to have high levels of professionalism and service at all times. You will be liaising with site foreman and project managers on jobs, along with providing input into workflow planning and ensuring jobs are done on time and as per set guidelines. Ensuring Health & Safety protocols are being always adhered to by the team is also key.

Hours of work are: 7.00am – 4.30pm five days a week (45 hour week).

  • Possess excellent adaptable communication skills
  • A patient manner & a willingness to impart your knowledge and skills to those you are supervising.
  • Understand technical drawings and an understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Be physically fit
  • Be able to work autonomously/independently at times
  • Be willing to take accountability and have a professional manner
  • Have a full NZ driver’s licence.
  • Previous proven experience fitting sprinklers or a similar product
