Nobuko holds a diploma in engineering from Japan and has gained valuable experience working as a mechanical machine operator and a machine process engineer in dairy product manufacturing.

Nobuko's previous role as a fire safety consultant provided her with a solid understanding of fire safety regulations in New Zealand. This understanding has aided her transition into her new role within the design team as a junior designer in fire protection systems for commercial buildings.

Outside of work, Nobuko is a passionate rugby supporter for both the Japanese and Chiefs teams. When not cheering on her favourite teams, she enjoys looking after her vegetable gardens and hosting gatherings with friends.
